I find this video totally disgusting but the part I find most repulsive is having Sofia go teach her friends at school her beliefs. First never a JW, if I am not mistaken wasn't it the WT and their legal team that got the pledge and prayer taken out of OUR schools here in America then DON'T start preaching your religious beliefs on our school properties!! Furthermore don't be preaching that hatred to my grandchildren because my grandchildren will be preaching ARC, pedophile in KH, and your bloody sexist attitudes to your little Sofia and friends.

OK, history lesson here in the US, I have never been in a KH but I am sure some older members of this forum can verify what I am about to say in the 1960's and prior if you walked into a KH it was WHITE or it was BLACK it was not mixed. Ceasars laws started to change so did WT.

What I do not understand is why they have held their ground on the sexist attitudes. And their attitude on child rape.

I worked my way through college working for large national company that was dominated by men. When I graduated I had a degree in Finance with a minor in Business along with 4 semester in Business Law. The company I worked for was under a lot of pressure by the federal government to put females in lead SALES management or they were going to lose their federal contracts. I was offered one of these positions with all of the perks and moving expenses included. Thirty days into the new job the "old set in his way women don't belong" boss started his campaign to harsh me. Called me with you will no longer drive the company car to and from work. My response Not a problem as soon as you have new contract on my desk I will accommodate your wishes. One hour later he called me back I guess you can continue driving the company car and slammed the phone down. Thirty days later he called me and said I have your leave slip for Christmas, I am denying it because I need you to cover Dean's store and your store. My response Sorry that does not work for me for two reasons one I have use or lose leave which has to be used before the end of the year AND two Dean has not been employed long enough to have any leave. I will be taking my vacation. His response I will call you back. He called back. I approved your leave request. About 30 days after vacation he called me at 11 AM in the morning and said I understand that you are having a problem getting to work on time. No sir I am not. But you are more the welcome to hope on the next flight and open this store at 7AM tomorrow morning and close it tomorrow night 9 PM because that is what I have been doing for the last 4 weeks for a SALARY and no ovrrtime and hung up on him. Thirty minutes later my old boss called me (I swear this company word spread faster then fire in a building ) DO NOT put your resignation in writing the company is willing to pay for a move to transfer you.

Thirty days later I got a call HD was forced to retire for his pressure on the 3 female store msnagers.

The store they sent me to I cleaned house 6 men got either lost their jobs, demoted or forced to retire.

Headaches vs. Migraines

a while back a coworker was telling me she had a migraine in the morning and had to take some aspirin before coming to work.

i was like, "yeah, that wasn't a migraine dear.

that was just a headache.

I have had migraines my entire life the crazy thing is even with my head pounding out of control I would continue to work. About 5 years ago the doctor had me log my headaches and it was found that I was actually having as many as 20 migraines a month.

The doctors finally started me on a preventative which most people take 25 to 50 MG to control their migraines to bring my migraines under control the dosage over the years has been raised to 350 mg.

As you say it puts you to bed in pain mine never did this. The doctor at John Hopkins explained migraines will take different forms and since I suffered from them for 40 years I had learned to deal with the pain but what was getting bad 5 years ago it started to effect the nerve endings in my face. All the nerve endings were getting very sensitive whenever a migraine came on. It got to the point that I had to take pain killers just to take a shower because I could not tolerate water touching my face or head. Trying to brush my hair was next to impossible even putting on makeup became unbearable. Once they got my headaches under control the nerve endings were no longer sensitive.

My migraines do not make me throw up but when I get migraines it is weeks before I can tolerate the smell or taste of food. I just have to force myself to eat.

And when the Judge ask have they produced that list this month in the follow up hearing in the other case. That should have lots of names and places. Those bunkers might be full, there might just be a lot of people hiding.

i'm going to relate a jw family that i know of that highlight how disproportionate disfellowshipping is.

both dad (elder) and mum are die hard jw.

the son was always a nasty boy and when he got into drugs it just intensified his personality 10 fold.

I would sorta of guess if there is no money and they need some type of care somebody is going to be calling on you. Although not a JW in the real world the same crap goes on. My sister the "Princess" does not talk to me handles everything with the nursing home like she is a big shot but she is so strung out on prescription drugs she has no clue which side is up let alone where down would be. My week started at 1:05PM on Sunday, it seems my sister was not answering her phone so the nursing home called me. OH, 89 year old mom tried to escape then chased 3 nurses down the hallway, then grabbed a pair of scissors and went after a nurse. They got drs orders to heavily sedate her. Next day my sister was called to a conference I told her in no uncertain terms you will not meet or speak to anyone at this facility unless I am on the speaker phone do you clearly understand these instructions? Finally I got through to her. Basically they want her out of there. BUT, this facility made a huge blunder they submitted her reapp and had my mother sign this legal document NOW what a cotton picking minute this woman was declared incompetent many many years ago. So when medicaid denied benefits 6 weeks ago guess who got the notice. NOW, I am trying to move this old violent woman with just her S.S. payment. Guess what just hit the fan!! This Italian lady ain't happy, nursing home ain't happy, corporate office just got involved cause the Italian lady hates chain of command!! Alz is one ugly disease especially if they are the violent type.

How do you deal with depression?

i'm currently going through a bout of depression and my eating disorder has gotten worse.

ever since my parents actually told me that they are going to kick me out when i turn 18 i've felt kind of hopeless about my life.

my parents won't take me to the doctor because the psychiatrists won't have my "best interests" aka jw crap in mind, because really that's the root of all my problems.. i'm wondering if any of you guys have any advice with dealing with depression?

I have never been a JW!! So the comments above about evil apostates do not apply here. I love all youth and have worked with youth in my spare time my entire adult life.

How are your parents treating your siblings now, how will they treat them in the future? Do you want your siblings to go through what your going through now? MHO, your parents are being very abusive. I was a much older parent but when both of my children reached the age of 17 they made their own decisions, went where they wanted and did what they wanted.

We live in a very large state but if you are any where near either my daughter or myself we WILL reach out to you somehow!! My daughter is a teacher, she is aware of your situation. PM ME please!

Your state has a Child mental health care system and it is free up till you are 18. Also please go online and research your state laws for emancipation you may qualify for a couple of reasons primary because of the fact that your parents are withholding medical care. The age is 16. Please PM me as to what part of our state you live in.

Never a JW here. I'LL bet my bottom dollar when those dye hard JW's are old and need to be cared for guess who will be taking care of them? Not that son, more then likely it will be that daughter they shunned all along.
